 In 1988, on the initiative of the managing body of the association and the then president, Josep M. Figueras, a day of water-based activities was initiated in the month of July in the GEiEG Sant Ponç sports centre, during which a variety of activities all related to water were organised. During this event, the 25m swimming pool is transformed into an aquatic park with a monkey bridge, a slide, all sorts of inflatable devices, goals for water polo games, floating baskets for playing water-basketball etc. The Olympic swimming pool becomes the setting for aquatic gymkhanas, as well as canoeing courses and scuba diving initiation courses. This day of leisure is an enjoyable day out for all the family.
