At present there are 5 teams:
- 1 cadet team (school).
- 1 women’s team (promotion).
- 1 youth team.
- 2 adult teams in the 1st and 2nd Catalan division.

| ACTIVITIES |
The rugby section organises
the Christmas Bingo, "La Quina de Nadal" at the GEiEG Sant Narcís
sports centre, as well as a trip to see a match of the 6 Nations
Rugby Tournament. This section also organises, with the sponsorship
of Castell-Platja d'Aro Town Council, the "Beach-Rugby Tournament"
(El Torneig Internacional de Rugbi - Platja 7x7), held in this
town on the Costa Brava.
Members of the rugby section participate and cooperate in the
"Torneig Eix Transversal" tournament and the women's team members
organise the "Festa del Rugbi". One of the traditional events
of the section is the "Sopar de les Corbates" dinner for male
players and the "Colors" dinner for women players.
In 2003, the GEiEG held the Spain-France match of the 6 Nations
Women's Rugby Tournament. |
