| ACTIVITIES |
Some 120 children,
ranging in age from 3 to 10, come to the Sports School on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays to take part in a series of sporting
activities run by instructors specialised in physical education,
sport and games.
At the GEiEG Sports School, we offer every child an extra-curricular
physical activity aimed at generating a positive attitude towards
activity and physical exercise. This activity is also combined
with games and various sports which are carried out in the GEiEG
centres; such as judo, hockey, basketball, handball, tennis,
gymnastics, swimming and athletics. The Sports School is divided
into three different age groups:
- Discovering yourself and psychomotor activities (3-4 year
olds / 4-5 year olds).
- Initiation to pre-sport games (5-6 year olds).
- Discovering sporting disciplines (7-10 year olds). Skiing,
climbing, archery, rugby and orientation among other activities
are held during the course, and in the final months of the School,
the 8- to 10-year-old group have special sessions of sports
held at the GEiEG (handball, swimming, rugby, basketball, tennis,
athletics etc). |
