At present there are 10 women's
basketball teams:
- 1 pre-mini team in the Provincial League.
- 2 mini teams, A and B, in the Provincial League.
- 1 children's team in the Provincial League.
- 1 children's team in the Catalan Special League
- 1 cadet team in the Catalan Special League
- 2 junior teams: the GEiEG A in the Catalan Special League
and the GEiEG B in the Provincial League.
- 2 senior teams: the GEiEG A in the Catalonia Cup (La Copa
Catalunya) and the GEiEG B, in the 2nd Catalan Division. |
| ACTIVITIES |
| Each year this section organises the New Year's Tournament (El Torneig d'Any Nou), a prestigious event in which the best teams in the Spanish Junior Category participate. The GEiEG has won this tournament on two occasions. Every 11th of September (The Catalan National Day), the selection celebrates the presentation of all the teams participating in the season's matches in the Lluis Bachs pavilion at the Sant Narcís sports centre. |
